Hyderabad, Sep 6: The term of 4-year-three months and 4-days TRS government headed by K Chandrashekar Rao has ended on Thursday with the dissolution of the newly born Telangana Assembly by Governor ESL Narasimhan without no time.
Few minutes after the Cabinet resolved to dissolve the house, Chief Minister accompanied by his cabinet colleagues, met the Governor at Raj Bhavan and submitted TI him the one-line Cabinet resolution copy dissolving the Assembly.
The dissolution of the Assembly paved way for early election likely along with Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram that will be heading to the polls in just a couple of months.
In an official Press communiqué, Principal Secretary to Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Harpreet Singh said the Governor while accepting the recommendation of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, has requested K Chandrashekar rao and his Council of Minister to continue in office as a caretaker government.
