Allegations against Vadra false and fabricated: Cong

New Delhi, Sep 2: Terming 'false ' and 'fabricated' the allegations against former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and industrialist and brother-in-law of Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Robert Vadra of committing irregularities in a series of land deals in Gurgaon, the Congress on Sunday said it was an attempt to divert attention from the corruption scams of the Modi government and its complete failure of governance.

In a statement issued here, AICC media in charge Randeep Surjewala said, ' The entire allegations (against Hooda and Vadra) are false and fabricated on the face of it.

To divert attention from the corruption saga of ‘Rafale Deal’, the scam of ‘Demonetization’, the 12 lakh crore ‘Loot’ through hike in prices of petrol/diesel, the failure to create 2 crore jobs every year, the rapidly falling rupee and failing economy and complete failure of governance of PM Modi-BJP Government; a new set of ‘manufactured lies’ is being served through false and fake FIRs against political opponents.'
