New Delhi, Aug 31: New Zealand is exploring opportunities for investment in agri services sector in India and developing trade ties with the country, Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu said on Friday.
New Zealand Minister of State for Trade and Export Growth Damien O' Conner met Prabhu on the sidelines of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Ministerial meeting in Singapore and discussed on enhancing bilateral trade and investment between the two countries.
Prabhu in turn assured all possible assistance for the same. "Discussed on enhancing bilateral trade and investment between India and New Zealand and welcomed New Zealand's interest in exploring opportunities for investment in Agri services in India, assured all possible assistance regarding the same," Prabhu said in a tweet.
Both sides also welcomed the recent collaboration between Future Consumer Group and Fonterra in dairy sector. (UNI)
