President Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday left for New Delhi after a three-day visit to Kerala.
Earlier in the day he had an interaction with Judges Kerala High Court judges after which he left for Thrissur to inaugurate the centenary celebrations of St Thomas College.
In his address, he pointed to the great strides made by missionaries in the fields of education and healthcare, including in Kerala which helped in the State's overall social development. Owing to inclement weather, his trip to the temple town of Guruvayur was by road instead of taking a helicopter as planned.
He offered prayers at the Sree Krishna temple and Siva temple at Mammiyoor, before leaving for New Delhi.The fiasco caused by a policeman making public on WhatsApp details of the President's route map is being probed by the special branch.
