The Supreme Court on Tuesday said it will hear the matter pertaining to service, transfer, and postings under the Delhi Government, next week.
Rahul Mehra, lawyer appearing for the Delhi Government, on Tuesday mentioned the matter before the apex court three-judge bench, headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra and also comprising Justice AM Khanwilkar and DY Chandrachud, said that there still seemed to be a stalemate between the Delhi Government and the Centre.
"We will hear the matter next week," the CJI said.
Mehra requested the top court for an urgent hearing into the matter. The apex court, however, said, we will hear the matter next week. It had not given any date for hearing the Delhi Government matter. (UNI)
