The Supreme Court on Monday asked the Centre to file its detailed response on a lawyer's plea seeking a thorough probe into the alleged leak of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) question papers.
The SSC examination was conducted in February, and it was later found that the examination papers were allegedly leaked. The plea was filed by lawyer Manohar Lal Sharma before the apex court and he sought a thorough investigation into the entire scam.
Sharma claimed that without a thorough investigation, this huge scam could not be unearthed and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) should probe the entire matter. "It involves the future of many job seekers," his petition claimed. (UNI)
