Senior AIADMK leader and Tamil Nadu Fisheries Minister D Jayakumar on Thursday said the 2G verdict acquitting all the accused, including DMK Rajya Sabha member Kanimozhi and former Telecom Minister A Raja, was not final and felt that there would be a good judgment if the CBI filed an appeal.
Talking to reporters here, he said he did not wish to go into the details of the verdict and that he did not want to comment about the court order. Recalling the Supreme Court's observation while cancelling the 2G spectrum licences that the first-come-first-serve policy was flawed and arbitrary, he said it was a fit case for appeal and this was not the final judgment.
'An appeal can be filed against the verdict. If the CBI files an appeal there is a possibility of a good judgment'', he added.
