India on Friday charged Pakistan with spreading falsehood on talks between Islamabad and Kabul about 'swapping' Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav for a terrorist who carried out the horrific 2014 Peshawar school attack and is now jailed in Afghanistan.
"Yehjhoot ki kari meinek aurijafa (It seems that this is one more addition to the long list of imaginary lies and stories that have been created by Pakistani establishment)," Ministry of External Affairs spokesman Raveesh Kumar told reporters here.
Reacting to the media reports which quotes Foreign Minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif claiming that such a discussion had taken place, Kumar said, even the Afghanistan authorities have denied about any such talks.
Stating this he said even at the UNGA, the Pakistani efforts to make use of falsehood stood exposed.
To a question on whether he would agree to the proposal of 'such swap', the MEA spokesman said,"I have already rejected the proposal because we do not even know who spoke to whom on what”.
