Kohima, Jun 04 : With the detection of 22 more COVID-19 positive cases, the highest number of Corona Virus infection case in a day so far, Nagaland recorded a total of 80 active COVID-19 cases. to 80. Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom tweeted today that the state detected 22 COVID-19 Positive cases, out of total 171 suspected samples sent to Naga Hospital Authority of Kohima and Dibrugarh.

Phom also informed that all the 22 COVID-19 positive cases were returnees from Chennai and all of them were from different districts of Nagaland. They were presently at the quarantined center in Dimapur. Meanwhile, Nagaland Principal Secretary for Home Abhijit Sinha in his daily briefing on COVID-19 informed that most COVID-19 active cases are in the 18 to 44 years of age brackets in the state. (UNI)
