COVID-19: Jalgaon reports three new fatalities

Jalgaon, Jun 8 : Three senior citizens have succumbed to the COVID-19 pandemic in the past 12 hours, while undergoing treatment at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here, official sources said on Monday. Meanwhile, 89 new cases were reported on Sunday, they said, adding that the highest 18 were registered in Bhusawal, followed by Amalner (16) and city areas (13).

The remaining cases were found in the localities of Chopda (3), Bhadgaon (4), Dharangaon (4), Yaval (9), Erandol (4), Jamner (3), Raver (9), Parola (2), Chalisgaon (3), Muktainagar (3) and Bodwad (1). So far, Jalgaon has recorded 1,109 cases, out of which, 530 have been cured, while 122 have died of the contagion. (UNI)
