Policeman dies of heart attack in Nashik

Nashik, Jun 2 : A 55-year-old police jamadar from Malegaon, who had fully recovered from Covid-19 disease, has died of a heart attack. The policeman was admitted to a private hospital in Malegaon with corona-like symptoms on May 13 and from there, he was shifted to a hospital in Nashik. After being quarantined for 14 days, he was discharged from hospital on May 27, doctors said.

On Monday morning, he was again admitted in a critical condition to a private hospital, after he complained of shortness of breath, where he was diagnosed with coronary artery disease. However, he suffered the heart attack and died while under treatment. After his demise, his swab sample was taken again and sent for investigation, the doctors added. He was working in the city police station here. He is survived by his wife and three children. (UNI)
