COVID-19: 35 fresh cases in Aurangabad, total nears 1400

Aurangabad, May 28 : The number of Novel Coronavirus patients continued to rise unabated in this Maharashtra district, where 35 fresh cases were detected on Thursday, taking the toll of infected people to 1397, the District administration confirmed. The fresh cases included 14 females and 21 males. The death toll stood at 64 fatalities, while 867 patients had been cured so far, it said.

Hamalwadi recorded maximum four cases, followed by three in N-4 and two each in Rokadia Hanuman Colony, Jai Bhavani Nagar, Narali Baug, Railway Station Premises, Sambhaji Colony and N-6, Besides, one case each was reported from Baijipura, Misarwadi, Waluj Mahanagar, Bajaj Nagar, Sanjay Nagar, Shahaganj, Hussain Colony, Kailas Nagar, Osmanpura, Itkheda, City Chowk, Nath Nagar, Balaji Nagar, Sai Nagar N-6, Karim Colony, Roshan Gate, Anguri Bagh, Tanaji Chowk, Balaji Nagar, N-11 and Hudco, the district administration added.(UNI)
