COVID-19: 30 fresh cases in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, May 27 : With 30 fresh cases of Novel Coronavirus detected on Wednesday in this district of Marathwada region, the total number of cases touched 1360, including 58 fatalities, sources in the district administration confirmed. Out of these, 21 patients were males and nine were females, they said, adding that Subhash Chandra Bose Nagar recorded maximum four cases, followed by three in Jai Bhavani Nagar, two each in Jahagirdar Colony and Shivshankar Colony.

One each case was reported from Gangapur, Misarwadi, Siddheshwar Nagar, Jadhavwadi, Shahnawaz Masjid Premises, Sadat Nagar, Bhavani Nagar, Old Mondha, Juna Bazar, Itkheda Complex, Jaybhim Nagar, Altamash Colony, Shivneri Colony N-9, Tilak Nagar, N-4 CIDCO, Roshan Gate Premises, Sadaf Nagar Railway Station Premises, Hamalwadi, Railway Station Premises, Bhagyanagar, Samata Nagar and Sillod. Total 781 people were cured and discharged from hospitals, they added. Strict lockdown was in progress up to May 31 in the district as preventive measures, they added. (UNI)
