Aurangabad,Maharashtra, May 19 : A 65-year-old man succumbed to the COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at the Government Medical College and Hospital(GMCH), informed Hospital Co-ordinator Dr Arvind Gaikwad on Tuesday. On May 17, the patient was admitted to the District General Hospital following complaints of asthma and fever.
On Monday, he tested positive for the pandemic, and was shifted to the GMCH in the morning. However, he breathed his last post at midnight, apprising Dr Gaikwad. So far, this district has recorded 35 fatalities due to the contagion. (UNI)
