Aurangabad (Maharashtra), May 18 : A 65-year-old man, suffering from comorbidities, succumbed to the COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at the Government Medical College and Hospital(GMCH), stated Hospital Coordinator Dr Arvind Gaikwad on Monday.
On May 13, the elderly man was admitted to a private hospital and subsequently shifted to the GMCH upon testing positive for the pandemic. As the patient's condition was critical, he was kept in ICU. However, he breathed his last on Sunday evening, apprised Dr Gaikwad. So far, this district has recorded 32 fatalities due to the contagion .(UNI)
