Covid-19 lockdown in Aurangabad extended till May 20

Aurangabad, May 17 : Coronavirus lockdown in the Aurangabad district has been extended till May 20 as the infection tally here nears 1,000-mark, the district administration said on Sunday.

With 57 fresh cases, the total number of infections in the district has spiked to 958 and 26 succumbing to the virus, health officials said, adding that 256 patients have been cured and discharged till now. The current figures of the COVID-19 infection are as follows: Jalan Nagar (1), Ulkanagari (1), Rohidas Housing Society (1), Sanjay Nagar (1), Satara Premises (1), Ganpati Bagh, Satara Premises (6), Vidyanagar, Seven Hill (1), N-6, CIDCO (1), Pundalik Nagar (5), Hussain Colony (8), Ram Nagar (3), Bahadurpura (8), Bari Colony, street no. Two (1), Kabadipura, Buddilen (3), Sharif Colony (3), Babar Colony (3), Sindhi Colony (1), Nyay Nagar (1), Nyay Nagar, Durga Mata Colony (1), Silk Mill Colony ( 1), GMCH (1), Rentipura (1), others (2) and Delana (2) in Kannad taluka.
