Nashik, May 16 : The three-pronged approach of citizens’ response, coordination of all systems and planned treatment methods have made it possible to recover 534 corona infected cases in the district, stated district collector Suraj Mandhare on Saturday.
In a press note released here, he said that owing to growing number of corona cases in Malegaon in the district and detection of cases among police, administrative officials and health workers, as well as citizens in the past month, the adoption of three-pronged approach of citizens response, coordination of all systems and planned treatment methods made it possible to recover 534 corona infected cases in the district, amongst which 428 have been from Malegaon.
Talking about the situation in Malegaon, Mr Mandhare further said on the one hand, the number of positive reports coming in daily had dropped dramatically, while on the other hand, the recovery rate of patients was encouraging. As per the new rules for discharge of Corona patients, out of 602 patients in Malegaon, 428 have been discharged so far in Malegaon, he added. (UNI)
