COVID-19 infection cases in M'rashtra rises to 23,401

Aurangabad/Mumbai, May 11 : With 1,230 new confirmed COVID-19 cases reported on Monday, the total number of infections in the state rose to 23,401. "With 36 fresh deaths, the death toll now stands at 868", Health Minister Rajesh Tope informed.

"Today's death toll included 23 men and 13 women," he said, adding that highest number of deaths i e 20 were reported from Mumbai followed by five in Solapur, three from Pune, Two each from Thane and Aurangabad and one each from Nanded, Amravati, Wardha and Ratnagiri. "On today 587 corona patients were cured and discharged from hospitals the total cured and discharged goes up to 4786 across the state so far," he added. (UNI)
