Aurangabad (Maharashtra), May 5 : An elderly man succumbed to the COVID-19 while 24 new cases were reported from hotspots here on Tuesday, stated Government Medical College and Hospital(GMCH) Dean Dr Kanan Yelikar.
Now, the total number of confirmed cases stands at 321. On April 27, a 65-year-old man was admitted to a private hospital in critical condition. Next day, he was diagnosed with the pandemic and was kept on life support. However, he died today taking the death toll due to the contagion to 11. Out of the new cases found today, 21 come from Jai Bhimnagar while the remaining three are inhabitants of Buddha Nagar, Ajab Nagar and Sanjay Nagar. (UNI)
