COVID-19: One more dead, toll rises to 10 in Mah's Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, May 4: A-55-year old person died due to coronavirus taking the death toll to 10 here, Dean of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Kanan Yelikar said. According to her, the patient, who hailed from Deolai Satara Parisar, was admitted in a serious condition on Sunday afternoon to the hospital.

He was later confirmed to be affected from the COVID -19 infection and succumbed on Sunday late night, the Dean further said. The deceased was admitted due to dry cough, diabetics, asthama and respiratory problem and as his condition was serious he was kept on life supported system. Dr Yelikar confirmed that the reason behind his death was bilateral pneumonia due to COVID19. The total number of positive cases reported in the city were 283, 10 deaths and 25 were cured from the infection. (UNI)
