Nashik's first Covid case cured, discharged

Nashik, Apr 14: The first Covid case of the district, detected in March end, has became the first case to be cured and subsequently discharged from the District Civil Hospital, authorities said here on Tuesday.

On March 25, the individual, a resident of Niphad taluka, was hospitalized after exhibiting the pandemic symptoms. After four days, the suspect patient tested positive after which he was kept in isolation ward. On April 12, Collector Suresh Mandhare apprised that the patient has tested negative twice for the contagion, and was discharged on Tuesday. (UNI)
