Four ration shops' licence suspended in Aurangabad

Agency News

Aurangabad, Apr 12: Taking strict note of the irregularities done by four shopkeepers here, the District Civil Supply officer Mahadev Kirwale on Sunday suspended licence of four ration shops.

According to official sources, the shopkeepers were charging high from the customers and were not providing grains under the Public Distribution Scheme. "They were also not giving receipts to the card holders", the source added.

As the complaints were received from many card holders, the civil supply department inspected these shops and served suspension notices to all the concerned shop owners.
