Aurangabad, Apr 9: The test report of Maharashtra Medical Education Minister and Guardian Minister of Latur district in Marathwada region, Amit Vilasrao Deshmukh for Novel Coronavirus came out negative on Thursday.
Reports from Latur said that Mr Deshmukh, who was experiencing symptoms like fever and cough, was advised by the doctors to get himself tested for COVID-19.
Following the doctors' advice, the Minister had started working from home and gave his swab sample for testing at J J Hospital in Mumbai.
The Minister appealed to the people not to hide any information from their doctors and take care of the health of their family members also. He further requested the public not to venture out of their houses without any valid reason. (UNI)
