Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Apr 3: Adhering to the social distancing norm in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, the Bombay High Court has started hearing important cases through video conferencing.
An official statement said that the proceedings have been started in the High Court benches in Aurangabad, Goa and Nagpur. In this way, the lawyers, defendants and witnesses involved in the proceedings of the cases can attend the hearings without being physically present in the court premises.
A similar process is being followed in the District Courts of Maharashtra and Goa, it added. (UNI)
