Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Mar 26 : Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday announced that the grocery shops and medical stores are allowed to remain open for 24 hours. His announcement came after a review meet with the senior officials at the CM residence Varsha in Mumbai.
It was reasoned that people rush to buy the essentials which leads to crowding which can be a boon for the COVID-19 spread. Hence, the CM relaxed the constraint on the working hours but asked the vendors to follow the government's guidelines regarding social distancing and hygiene. (UNI)
