Nagpur, Jan 29 : A clash erupted on Wednesday between the activists of Bahujan Kranti Morcha (BKM) and traders in Yavatmal district. According to reports, several traders defied the BKM's 'Bharat Bandh' call, given in protest of CAA, as well as the proposed NRC.
The party activists forced closure of the shops and later resorted to vandalisation, post resistance of traders. The ruckus aggravated further when the traders hurled chilli powder at the party activists. Police resorted to a mild lathi charge, to bring the situation under control. A large number of policemen have been deployed in the area, following the incident. (UNI)
