Kolhapur, Jan 28: Maharashtra BJP President Chandrakant Patil on Tuesday warned the Maha Vikas Aghadi government to cooperate with the NIA in investigation of the BhimaKoregaon case, else face legal wrath.
Talking to media persons here after leading a protest march, demanding complete farm loan waiver, Mr Patil said, "According to reports, Pune Police has refused to give Bhima-Koregaon case related documents to the NIA for investigation. "The government should cooperate with the NIA, else it would face legal consequences," he added.
Speaking further on the apparent phone-tapping episode of political leaders, on behest of former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, he said, "Nobody has stopped the government from conducting an inquiry against Mr Fadnavis or any other BJP leader." (UNI)
