On the day when first Thackeray Chief Minister to be sworn-in, Supriya Sule, daughter of Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar, said Bal Thackeray and his wife treated her with love and affection.

Taking to Twitter, Supriya Sule also added that both Bal Thackeray and his wife loved her “more than a daughter” and that she was missed them a lot. Now, Supriya Sule’s tweet is widely circulating on Twitter.

When Uddhav Thackeray set to be sworn in as Maharashtra CM, Supriya Sule turned emotional and said the Sena chief’s father late Bal Thackeray and mother Meenatai Thackeray should have been around this day. “Maa Saheb and Bala Saheb - missing you so much today,” Supriya Sule wrote on Twitter on highly emotional note. While Bal Thackeray was also called as Bala Saheb, his wife Meenatai Thackeray was known as ‘Maa Saheb’.

Though Sharad Pawar and Bal Thackeray had been bitter critics of each other in the political sphere, shared cordial relations out of it.

“Both of you should have been here today. They treated me with so much love and affection more than a daughter! Their role in my life will always be special and memorable!” Sule tweeted.

In 2006, the then Sena president Bal Thackeray did not field a party candidate when Pawar named Sule as the NCP’s candidate for a Rajya Sabha seat. In the background of newly found close ties between Shiv Sena and NCP, Sule’s tweet also went viral easily.
