Though sidelined by the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) after a rift with uncle Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar, the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, continued his attempt to woo NCP MLAs through social meda on Sunday.
Taking to twitter, he said: “I am in the NCP and shall always be in the NCP and @PawarSpeaks. Saheb is our leader. Our BJP-NCP alliance shall provide a stable Government in Maharashtra for the next five years which will work sincerely for the welfare of the State and its people.”
Earlier, in another tweet, Ajit Pawar has extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for becoming the deputy chief minister of Maharashtra on Saturday.
He also assured him of forming a stable government in the state. Replying to the Prime Minister's congratulatory message on Twitter, Ajit wrote, "Thank you Hon. Prime Minister @narendramodi ji. We will ensure a stable Government that will work hard for the welfare of the people of Maharashtra."
He has also changed his Twitter bio to Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra amid the ongoing huddle in the state.
