Mumbai, Oct 26 : The BJP-Shiv Sena government is set to form the government again in Maharashtra. After Sena, NCP is the largest party in the state Assembly. Hence, the post of Leader of the Opposition will be with NCP.
For the post of Leader of the Opposition, names of the several NCP legislatures are under consideration, sources in the party said. Among them, the top name is Dhananjay Munde, who was Leader of Opposition in the state Legislative Council, while the name of Jitender Awhad and Jayant Patil are being discussed, they added.
The names of the leader will be announced shortly after the formation of the new government, sources said. (UNI)
