Palghar, Oct 26 : Minor tremors were witnessed in this Maharashtra district on Saturday, the authorities said.
According to chief of disaster cell Vivekanand Kadam, the tremors measuring 2.7 on the Richter Scale was experienced at 8.48 am within a depth of five km. However, there was no damage or casualty, he said.
The district experienced at least half a dozen tremors within a period of about 40 minutes, a couple of days back. Dundalwadi has been experiencing tremors since the last about one year and the district was reeling under extreme fear, since then. (UNI)
