Thane, Oct 25 : Lone MNS MLA from the state Raju Patil, who was elected from Kalyan Rural constituency, on Friday declared that he would place the problems faced by Kalyan before the state government and get them solved. Talking to the media here, he gave credit for his victory in assembly polls to the residents of the constituency. He thanked MNS chief Raj Thackeray for giving him the opportunity to contest the elections.
He also thanked the Sangarsha Samiti, as well as several persons from different political parties who helped him win in this election. Replying to a pointed question, Mr Patil said that he would raise the issue of exclusion of 27 villages from the Kalyan- Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) and demand for an independent civic body. He also said that he would put pressure on the government for getting this done.
The MNS MLA assured to fulfil the promises made in the manifesto. (UNI)
