Agency News

NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal retained his Yeola seat in Nashik with a majority of more than 52,886 votes.

Chhagan bagged 1,22,861 votes and beat nearest rival Sena's Sambhaji Pawar. This is fourth time Chhagan Bhujbal secured a victory here. Chhagan had resolved the water scarcity problem in Yeola taluka which helped him to create a positive impact on voters.

But his son, Pankaj Bhujbal, a two-term MLA from Nandgaon, lost to Shiv Sena's Suhas Kande by a margin of 13,889 votes.
