Kolhapur, Sep 17 : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday said the government will put forward the best foot to prevent situations like the last month's deluge in future.
As part of his pre-poll outreach tour titled ‘Maha Janadesh Yatra’, the CM alongside State Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil addressed a rally in the Kalamba village here. In the morning, the CM attended a road show which started from the Tararani Chowk and passed through main roads Dasara Chowk, Shivaji Chowk, Bindu Chowk before finally culminating at Kalamba,the city's outskirts. Addressing the huge gathering at the final stop, the CM said the BJP-led government has successfully completed five years.
Now, the party has come seeking people's blessings for next mandate, he said, adding that if the ruling party comes to power again he will visit this city so as to get deity Mahalaxmi's favour.
"With such mammoth people's response for this Yatra, I am fully confident that the BJP would win the upcoming state polls and return to power for the second time," he asserted.(UNI)
