Nagpur, Sep 4: Two police personnel were arrested on the alleged charges of demanding bribe as well as trading off illicit demands with the complainant, the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) said on Wednesday.
According to ACB, the duo accused-Assistant Sub–Inspector Damodhar Sampatrao Rajurkar (56) and head constable Shitlaprasad Ramlakhan Mishra (51)-blackmailed a woman spa owner to give Rs 25,000 bribe as well as provide three girls, with whom they can liaise sexually.
The accused cops asked the complainant to fulfil their demands so as to avoid legal crackdown on her spa, said ACB. Based on the woman's complaint, a trap was laid under the supervision of DySP Mahesh Chate, and the duo cops were arrested, stated ACB. (UNI)
