Pune, Sep 2: During the next 24 hours, squally weather likely to prevail along & off south Odisha and West Bengal coasts, north Andaman Sea, south Tamil Nadu coast, Gulf of Mannar, Lakshadweep area and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea. Strong winds with speed reaching 45-55 kmph very likely over west central and southwest Arabian Sea as well as central and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal (BoB). Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.
Heavy to very heavy rainfalls very likely at isolated places over Chhattisgarh, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, Telangana, Odisha, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, north and south interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal and Kerala.
