Police registers complaint in RRB exam leak

Thane, Sep 1 : The city police has registered an offence, following the leak on the social media, of Computer-based Test (CBT) or online examination of the Railway Recruitment Board, a senior police official said here on Sunday.

Senior Inspector of Kasarwadavali police station Kishore Khairnar told this correspondent that an offence was registered under Sections 420,120B, rw 34 of IPC and also under Sections 43(A),43(B),43(H),66(B) and 66(C) of the IT Act in this connection against the alleged accused Jitin Kumar Sagar and his associates.

The police officer said the case was too technical and being probed into, while no arrest has been made in this connection so far.

Police said the CBT of RRB for JE, DMS and CMA was held on August 28.

Out of total 300 candidates, 273 had given the test that day. (UNI)
