Aurangabad, Aug 25: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis-led 'Mahajanadesh Yatra's second phase will reach Beed district of Marathwada region from Ahmednagar district on Monday, BJP sources said. The party sources on Sunday said that Mr Fadanvis had undertaken the yatra in order to reach the masses in the state to inform BJP-led government's work. The assembly election is due in October. Mr Fadanvis, who started his first phase of the yatra from Yewatmal district of Vidharbha region on August five, suspended it due to the flood in western parts in the state.
Second phase of the yatra was began on August 22 from Dhule district in Khandesh region. "On Monday, the yatra will enter into Beed district from Ahmednagar," they said. During his yatra, Mr Fadnavis will interact with the people and also hold road shows, public rallies and conferences in the district headquarters. The yatra rath will pass across the eight districts between August 26 and September 1. These districts are Beed, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Hingoli, Nanded, Latur and Osmanabad. It will enter into Solapur district on September 1 from Tuljapur holy town, sources added.UNI
