Nashik, Apr 27: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis blasted at MNS chief Raj Thackeray on Saturday, saying that when MNS was in power at Nashik Municipal Corporation, the Sena-BJP alliance government had provided money at their request, so that the MNS engine could run smoothly in Nashik.
At a rally at Anant Kanhere ground, on the last day of campaigning for Lok Sabha polls, the Chief Minister did not spare NCP supremo Sharad Pawar also, saying that Mr Pawar has taken Raj Thackeray's engine on rental basis, but the engine of the oral vapour can never reach Delhi.
Fadnavis further alleged that during the MNS period, a 'glimpse' of development works in Nashik city was shown through a video, but this could happen only because of the BJP government, which was ruling both the state, as well as the Centre.
Maharashtra will go to polls in the fourth phase of general elections on April 29. (UNI)
