Kolhapur, Apr 11: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Thursday warned the BJP party not to meddle with Indian constitution for that might land it in hot water. Addressing a huge election rally in Kagal tehsil town of this district at late Thursday night, Mr Pawar criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for continuously attacking the constitution put together by Baba Saheb Ambedkar and warned him if it upsets people than he would be overthrown.
He further criticised the saffron party for attacking Indian institutions like Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Election Commission of India (ECI) throughout its reign. He also alleged that the BJP led NDA government have failed as the schemes such as Ujwala, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) and, GST and Demonetisation have failed heavily. Speaking on construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Mr Pawar remarked, "The Modi government had said earlier that they would announce retirement from politics, if failed to deliver on Ram Mandir."
