Palghar, Mar 1: A low intensity earthquake, measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, hit this district of Maharashtra on Friday.
Dundalwari village in Dahanu taluka received was affected the most by the tremors which struck at 1114 hrs, India Meteorological Department (IMD) sources said. The predominantly tribal district has been facing quakes since November last.
The depth of the same was 5 kms, indicating that the epicentre was once again Dundalwari, a village in Dahanu taluka. The district experienced three tremors on February 20, last of which measured 3 on Richter Scale. (UNI)
