Bhopal, June 4 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan deliberated with commissioners plus collectors through videoconferencing on Thursday with regard to precipitation that occurred in various districts and directed the bureaucrats to ensure cent per cent safe storage of wheat.
“Along with combatting COVID-19, storing crops kept in the open at some places is a challenge because of rainfall and squalls caused by Cyclone Nisarga. Though a rather limited quantity remains to be transported to warehouses, complete payment will be made to peasants against procured wheat so they need not harbour trepidation. Vehicles of those districts where transportation is over may be attached to others,” the veteran leader was officially quoted as saying. (UNI)
