MP ruling party MLAs huddled in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Mar 9: As a prelude to the collapse of the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh, as many as 17 legislators, reportedly followers of senior Congress leader, Jyotiraditya Scindia, are camping in the city.

According to BJP sources, the MLAs, who were opposing the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, have landed here by a special Aircraft and remained as a guests of the State BJP leaders in Karnataka.

Among the 17 MLAs, six are from BJP, and are likely to join the hands with the BJP to topple the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh, which is enjoying a thin majority in the Assembly.

The MLAs, who had arrived here have been lodged in a resorts, and reportedly remained inaccessible to the outsiders.

The Mobile phones of the MLAs, also been switched off, the sources added.

The shifting of the dissident MLAs, who were supporting the Kamala Nath-led Congress government was the part of the luring away of the ruling MLAs and topple the State government, the sources added. (UNI)
