Bhopal, Feb 21: The need of the hour is to generate employment opportunities for the younger generation and the Madhya Pradesh dispensation is making concrete efforts in that direction, Chief Minister Kamal Nath averred on Friday while addressing a programme in Chhindwara District’s Tamia, official sources said.
“For the past four decades, I am fortunate to have been receiving the affection of Tamia’s residents. This is my greatest strength. Special priority will be accorded to the development of the area. Work avenues are being provided through skill development centres. Keeping in view the vast scope of tourism, economic activities are being promoted for enabling locals to obtain jobs,” he underlined.
On a demand by local parliamentarian Nakul Nath, the Chief Minister sanctioned Rs 4 crore to develop four shrines.
“The present generation has not seen the old Chhindwara. People of Patalkot have no connection with the outside world yet. It has always been my priority to develop this district and its culture. Now development work will also be executed with novel policies and schemes,” he assured. (UNI)
