Bhopal, Feb 9: The Madhya Pradesh Assembly’s Leader of the Opposition Gopal Bhargava returned fire on Saturday by levelling a grave allegation in the wake of Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s statement vis-a-vis the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
“The Chief Minister’s work is being orchestrated by Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi and the former desires to convert the state’s tribal folk to Christianity. Mr Nath says that he shall initiate legal proceedings in the event of any RSS action against adivasis’ time immemorial beliefs,” he said.
“What can be a worse misfortune for the state? Sanatan Dharm has been played with and subjected to injustice in the past but that should not happen any longer. The tribes are an integral part of Hindu faith and there is no need to prove that,” Mr Bhargava averred in a release. (UNI)
