Bhopal, Jan 10: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Friday released, at Mantralaya, a special poster series on Mahatma Gandhi and a calendar – focussing on the country’s struggle for Independence – published by the city-based Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication.
“The Father of the Nation’s posters should also be displayed at Vallabh Bhavan,” the Chief Minister was officially quoted as saying.On the occasion of the Mahatma’s 150th birth anniversary year, his life story and crucial episodes related to the fight for freedom have been included in the posters that highlight Bapu’s ideals.
The key events of the struggle against the Raj and pictures based on historic moments lend charm to the calendar. The noble objective is to make the new generation aware of the sacrifices made by our forefathers so that India could breathe the air of liberty. (UNI)
