Bhopal, Sep 6: The four-day-long dispute – between Rajya Sabha Member-cum-erstwhile Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijaya Singh and Forest Minister Umang Singhar – on Friday witnessed the former coming to the fore for the first time and averring that the entire matter should be looked into by Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi and Chief Minister Kamal Nath who is in a dual role as the party’s state head.
“I shall not speak at length over this,” Mr Singh told the press here.
He did not furnish any clear response over whether he would meet Mr Singhar or if he has pardoned the Minister who levelled grave allegations.
“I am not a diabetes sufferer and consume sweetened tea,” he said cryptically.
If anyone in the party perpetrates indiscipline, action must be initiated, the parliamentarian felt.
Earlier, Mr Singhar invited Mr Singh for a cup of tea. (UNI)
