Bhopal, Sep 4: A day after Madhya Pradesh Forest Minister Umang Singhar fired grave allegations against his own party’s Rajya Sabha Member and erstwhile chief minister Digvijaya Singh, the Congress state unit claimed that the entire matter stands resolved following a discussion between Chief Minister Kamal Nath and his recalcitrant junior.
“The interaction with the Chief Minister took place on Tuesday itself. Party General Secretary-cum-state In-charge Dipak Babaria also spoke with the Minister. No crisis of any kind exists within the Congress. In a communication, Mr Babaria directed one and all not to make such matters public – as that provides the Opposition an opportunity for criticism – and instead raise them at party forums,” Media In-charge Shobha Ojha told media persons present in the vicinity of Mr Singhar’s residence here.
The Minister toned down after the meeting with Mr Nath. (UNI)
