Jailbreak in MP; probe underway

Neemuch, MP, June 23 : A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into four inmates – charged with grave offences – escaping from a district jail in Kanawati village, law-enforcement authorities said.
The incident occurred late Saturday and police are clueless regarding the whereabouts of Nar Singh, Dubey Lal, Pankaj Mongiya and Lekh Ram who had remained incarcerated for a long period. Two hail from Rajasthan and one each from Mandla and Mandsaur. Cordons were set up across the district, adjoining ones alerted and rewards of Rs 50,000 each announced for the arrest of the culprits.
