Bhopal, Jan 10 : The maiden session of Madhya Pradesh’s 15th Vidhan Sabha concluded on Thursday – a day ahead of schedule – as proceedings were adjourned indefinitely owing to pandemonium by opposition Bharatiya Janata Party members during election of the Deputy Speaker.
The session commenced on Monday. Amid the commotion, the Second Supplementary Budget – containing provisions exceeding Rs 22,000 crore – was passed by voice vote without discussion.
